Kent’s Story
Kent Rabalais is passionate about telling stories that reveal the wonder in our world and developing the potential of people. He is the Founder and Owner of Kent Studio, a consulting firm that creates spaces for individuals and companies on the edge of change to discover breakthrough clarity and courageously share their stories.
He is a co-host of Make It. Share It., the podcast where creativity meets courage, with author and songwriter, Lauren Chandler, and musician and artist manager, Steven Cooper. His studio recently financed, produced, and distributed the Amazon best-selling, and 2024 Audie Finalist "One Night In A Thousand Years" narrated by the Dawson's Creek and Varsity Blues star James Van Der Beek.
Before starting Kent Studio, he served as an executive director and board member at The Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas, a non-profit Christian ministry serving millions of people around the world with the gospel. Kent has also led creative marketing teams producing work for clients like The University of Notre Dame, The American Heart Association, and Dallas Children’s Medical Center earning multiple awards including Telly and Dallas Society of Visual Communications honors.
Prior to his time at The Village Church, Kent worked as a creative director for the non-profit fundraising and marketing agency, Pursuant, as well as a creative trainer for Apple, Inc.
He produced the 2011 independent film, “Between Notes” which spent several weeks in Apple’s Top 10 indie films list. He also worked as a producer developing film and tv projects with Mark Hulme, the financier and producer of, “JOBS,” (starring Ashton Kutcher).
Kent holds certifications from Apple, Inc., Paterson, S Coaching, a Leadership Excellence certification from the Disney Institute, and a BA from Baylor University. He is the husband to Kristen and the father to Drew, Jace, and Lauren.
